This Privacy Policy explains what information Property AI ("we," "us") collects when you use our website and application (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what we need to help you find a home.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information. When you sign in, we receive basic profile details from your identity provider (e.g., name, email, and a user ID) via Firebase Authentication.
- What you tell the agent. The lifestyle descriptions, preferences, refinements, and questions you provide so we can find and explain matches.
- Your activity in the Service. Saved homes, conversation history, and outreach drafts you generate.
- Technical data. Standard log and device data (e.g., IP address, browser type) used to operate and secure the Service. Voice input, if you use it, is transcribed by your browser; we receive the resulting text, not an audio recording.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To understand what you're looking for and curate a small set of matching homes.
- To generate the reasoning shown on each match and to draft outreach messages at your request.
- To save your preferences and homes so your experience persists across sessions.
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service.
3. AI Processing
To produce matches and reasoning, the text you provide is sent to AI model providers that process it on our behalf to generate a response. We do not use your inputs to train third-party public models, and we ask our providers to handle your data only to deliver the Service.
4. How Information Is Shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that power the Service — for example, Google Firebase (authentication and database) and our AI model provider — bound to use it only to provide the Service.
- Leasing contacts, but only the content of a message you choose to send or copy. We do not contact anyone on your behalf without your action.
- Legal and safety reasons, where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
5. Data Security
We use reputable infrastructure and reasonable safeguards (including encryption in transit and access controls) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You can ask us to delete your account data (see Contact below); some records may be retained where required by law.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these, email us.
8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents may request access to or deletion of their personal information and may opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
9. European Privacy Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA/UK, our legal bases for processing are your consent, the performance of our agreement with you, and our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes take effect when posted, and we will update the "Last updated" date above.
